Search and AI visibility

We get small businesses found on Google and Bing, and named when someone asks ChatGPT, Perplexity, Copilot or Google's AI Overviews who to call. It's monthly work, and we report what moved.

What it is

Search used to mean ten blue links. Now a growing share of people ask an AI assistant and take the first business it names. Being found means two things: ranking in Google and Bing, and being the business an AI engine is confident enough to recommend.

Search engine optimization (SEO) covers the first. Answer engine optimization (AEO), also called generative engine optimization (GEO), covers the second. They share most of the work, and we do both.

What we do

  • Technical SEO. Fast pages, clean addresses, sitemaps, canonical tags and indexing fixed in Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools.
  • Structured data. Schema markup that tells search engines and AI models exactly what you are, where you are, what you sell and what it costs.
  • Listings. Google Business Profile, Bing Places, Apple Business Connect and Yelp, kept accurate and consistent.
  • Answer-ready content. Pages that answer the questions your customers actually ask, in the first sentence, so an AI engine can quote you.
  • AI crawler access. llms.txt, crawler rules and instant indexing (IndexNow) so new pages reach Bing and Copilot the same day.
  • Reviews. Responses to every review, because both rankings and AI recommendations lean on them.

How we measure it

Every month we pull your searches, clicks and positions from Google and Bing, and we ask the major AI assistants the questions your customers ask, recording whether they name you. You get a short written report: what moved, what we changed, what's next.

We run the same program on our own site, so we can show you the method working before you pay for it.

Questions

What is the difference between SEO and AEO?

SEO (search engine optimization) is about ranking in search results like Google and Bing. AEO (answer engine optimization), also called GEO, is about being named in the answers AI assistants give, such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Copilot and Google AI Overviews. Most of the groundwork is shared: accurate listings, structured data, fast pages and content that answers real questions plainly.

How do I get my business mentioned by ChatGPT?

AI assistants recommend businesses they can verify. Make sure your business is described the same way everywhere (your site, Google Business Profile, Bing Places, Yelp), add structured data to your site, publish pages that answer customer questions directly, and earn reviews and mentions on other sites. Bing's index feeds ChatGPT search and Copilot, so Bing matters more than it used to.

How long does SEO take for a small business?

Technical fixes and listings can show results in weeks. Ranking for competitive searches usually takes three to six months of steady work. AI answers can change faster once your information is consistent and easy to quote.

How much does SEO cost?

Our search and AI visibility work is part of the Grow plan, which starts at $700 a month and also includes listings, review responses, scheduled content and mailing-list management. We start with a written diagnosis of where you stand.

Do you guarantee first place on Google?

No. Nobody honest can. We guarantee the work, a monthly report on what it did, and that you own everything we build.
