Get found by ChatGPT and Claude in Alameda

More of your customers are asking an AI assistant who to call, where to eat and where to shop, and it answers with whoever it can read clearly. We’re an Alameda company, and we make sure that’s you.

What we found

In October 2026 we checked the websites of 37 Alameda businesses: restaurants and bakeries on Park Street and Webster Street, the makers at Alameda Point, shops, groomers, clinics and contractors. Here’s what stands between most of them and an AI answer:

  • Only 2 of 37 had an llms.txt. That’s the short file that tells AI tools what a website is about. Almost nobody here has one yet.
  • 4 were blocking ChatGPT or Claude. Not on purpose: a platform setting (Squarespace, Cloudflare) was turning AI crawlers away at the door.
  • Most never say what they are. No structured data, or a generic block that never tells a machine it’s a bakery on Park Street that opens at seven.
  • The answers live somewhere else. Menus in PDFs, bookings on OpenTable, Tock or Mindbody, tastings on a ticket site. AI answers credit the platform, not you.

What we fix

  • Let the AI crawlers in. We check your robots.txt and platform settings, and open the door to GPTBot, ClaudeBot and PerplexityBot when a setting has quietly shut them out.
  • Say what you are, in code. Structured data that tells search engines and AI exactly what your business is, where it is, when it’s open, what it costs and what people say about it.
  • Put the answers on your own pages. Menus, rates, services and hours as plain text instead of PDFs and pictures, plus an llms.txt file that tells AI tools what your site covers.
  • Match your listings. Google Business Profile, Bing Places, Apple Business Connect and Yelp, all saying exactly what your website says.
  • Bookings and sales on your domain. When the booking lives on a third-party site, AI answers credit the platform. We bring it home.

How it starts

Every engagement starts with the free visibility check: we ask ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and Google the questions your customers ask, and show you, in writing, who they name instead of you.

We’re local, so we can meet you on Park Street or at your counter. Visibility setup starts at $1,200 one time. The Grow plan, which keeps your listings, reviews and AI answers current every month, starts at $700 a month. See every package and price.

Proof

We built and run the website and booking system for Carson River Resort, where the first paid online booking came in the day after launch and more than 1,000 payments have gone through Alpine to Stripe. We also built Eggbeater, which followed 4,468 Junior Olympics games live.

Questions

How do I get my Alameda business to show up in ChatGPT?

Make your website easy for AI to read and trust: let AI crawlers in, add structured data that says what you are and where, put your menu, services and hours on the page as text, and make your Google, Bing, Apple and Yelp listings match your site. We do all of it, starting with a free check of what ChatGPT says about you today.

Why isn’t my business showing up in AI answers?

On the Alameda sites we checked, the usual reasons were a platform setting blocking AI crawlers, no structured data, and key information locked in PDFs or third-party booking sites.

Do you work with businesses outside Alameda?

Yes. We’re based in Alameda and work across the Bay Area and beyond, including Lake Tahoe.

What does the free visibility check include?

Whether ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and Google name you for the questions your customers ask, where you rank on Google and Bing, whether your listings match your website, and the three fixes that matter most. It’s in writing and yours to keep.
